Today, ThursdayI am now sitting in front of my lappy and this is wat is infront of me.


Big big rain~!!!!

Fianally rain liao after all these hot hot day. U noe la....hot days are not very pleasing when u are wearing chef u all day long.

Oh ya, am i saw yvonne on my walk back home. Good luck to u. so suay, come out then rain liao

Talking abt today....

In the kitchen for so many times. Me and crystal jus cant get our Bavarian cream we made yesterday and last week set. Have been trying for so many weeks but we still have so much failure.

Again there is a shortage of ingredients! Is eggs and whipping cream again!!!! I cant imagine, we bought 10 dozens = 120eggs yesterday only lor. How come one day all finish???

We go buy again and come back do. But with no whippping cream we cant do anything since nighbourhood supermarket like prime dun even selling whipping cream.

Is so sad lahs~~!!! We ended up doing nthg at all. But evaluating our product and ways to improve it and making it set. Since next next week is the Mock presentation and real presentation liao.

So stress!!!

I shall not elaborate much on this day. Cos i was in the kitchen whole day, baking my sponge and testing out my project recipe.

Only thing i was displease is the lack of ingredients in the kitchen. No eggs and no whipping cream.

We completely cant do anything. So we ended up buying eggs back from prime supermarket. But i am kind of glad that those aunties @ prime still rmb me~!

And we had a long long day until 6pm at the lab doing our recipes and all that stuffs.

Lesson learnt today is that:

1) if u were to choose a pot for cooking ur cream, choose a clean one if nt u will find black specks IN ur custard.

2) Never ever invert ur cake for too long. It may result in ur cake having a hole underneath and springsback whenever u press it like a big button.

For example trying to do a CPR on a cake. LOL

Overall

for this 2 days is that, it is very very busy (*of course la!)

me+crystal and jiayin+jolene intended to skip tml's class outing jus to do our recipe tryout again since today no whipping cream.

Becos hor the classs outing they say until so fun so we decide to go with them tml!
Taking one day off from a hectic week is good for ur health.

I hope tml wont rain until like today.
